Good morning! In this blogpost I like to share with you a super healthy, delicious and easy breakfast recipe. It is a recipe, that you make before you go to bed, leave it in the fridge for a whole night and when you wake up, breakfast is served. It’s called overnight oats, because you soak your oats in milk overnight, so the flakes can absorb the milk.

What do I need:

  • Alpro coconut milk
  • One banana
  • Frozen raspberries
  • Cinnamon
  • Oatmeal (havermout vlokken)
  • Apple juice
  • Weckpot/ jar
  • Raisins

How to make it:

I have a big weckpot, so I like to make a batch for about 3 days. You first put in your oats, and fill it for 2/3 of you weckpot. Next, you fill it with the coconut milk till your pot is almost full. Then you put in the cinnamon, personally I really like the taste of cinnamon and because I’m using a big weckpot, I put in three teaspoons of cinnamon. Now it’s ready to be stirred up, so the oats, milk and cinnamon are mixed properly together. Now you’re going to add a dash of apple juice, 2-3 spoons of raisins, 4-5 spoons of frozen raspberries and one mashed banana. Stir everything up and you’re done!

Make sure the mixture is not too fluid, but also not to dry! Next you’re going to put it in the fridge overnight and the next morning, you’re breakfast is ready. Like I said, I make one big batch so I have breakfast for a  few days. So in the morning, I take out the jar and scoop a bit into a bowl and then I put the jar big in the fridge, so I have breakfast for the other days as well.

And this is the result! Just one big jar of goodness.
